This Post-Baccalaureate Program is for candidates interested in pursuing an additional teacher licensure. The Post-Baccalaureate Teacher Licensure program is designed for 21st Century Educators, providing an in-depth focus on the critical issues that are transforming the landscape of education - innovation, critical thinking, problem solving and collaboration.
Minimum GPA requirement of 3.0
Prerequisites: Must have completed a master's degree as defined by state licensure guidelines and have three years classroom teaching experience.

State Licensure Requirements
The following requirements must be completed in order to be recommended to the state for teacher licensure.
- Pearson Reading Specialist Exam required. Students must attempt to pass exam prior to taking the Culminating Teaching Experience & Seminar. Passing exam scores are required for state licensure.
- Earned Master's Degree required. The RWS license requires an earned master's degree in a literacy-related area.
- Completed at least three years of classroom teaching.
