Pursue your passion for the performing arts with the Theatre Minor. Learn about the history and literature of theatre, as well as performing arts skills, design and theatre technology. Tailor the minor to your interests with courses in acting, dance, voice, playwriting, directing, arts administration, stagecraft, puppetry, theatre education and musical theatre. You’ll have the opportunity to participate in full-scale theatrical productions offered by our department. Combine the Theatre Minor with any degree, or major in another theatre or dance option, literature, art, music or business to enhance your career opportunities or future studies. In addition to our award-winning faculty, the UNH Department of Theatre and Dance offers various performance opportunities every year in musicals, plays and dance concerts, including student productions. Students can also take part in the January Term study-abroad program, which offers a 10-day experience of London theatre and insights into politics and societal issues.
