Nonprofit Management Minor
The minor in nonprofit management provides a comprehensive view of not-for-profit organizations. The topics discussed in the minor revenue streams, development, and fundraising.
NOTE: This minor may not be declared with the following major: BS Business Management: Nonprofit Management.
Students will have the opportunity to:
1. Formulate an understanding of nonprofit management.
2. Examine financial management and revenue streams for nonprofit organizations.
3. Apply relevant marketing theories and practice to nonprofit organizations.
4. Identify best practices in volunteer management.
All minor courses must be completed with a minimum grade of C-, and a 2.0 grade point average must be maintained in courses for the minor. Two courses must be at the upper level (600 or 700). Only one overlap is allowed between major and minor.
