https://chhs.unh.edu/kinesiology/program/minor/physical-education-teaching
The minor in Physical Education Teaching is for students with an interest in pursuing a graduate degree to teach physical education after completing their undergraduate degree at UNH. The coursework and practicum experiences lay the foundation for understanding teaching using best practices in the physical education field. The courses provide a foundation in how to teach physical education along with specific instruction on teaching pupils with disabilities. A combination of activity-based courses and field experiences at a local elementary, middle or high school give students a true sense for what teaching physical education is all about. Upon completion of this minor, students will have the baseline content knowledge and experience to teach physical education if they choose to pursue teaching certification at the graduate school level.
