The Department of Life Sciences offers programs in Biological Sciences, Biotechnology, Psychology, and Neuropsychology that prepare students for successful careers in healthcare, research, social services, education, and industry. Through hands-on learning in our state-of-the-art classrooms and laboratories, students will develop the analytical and communication skills necessary for admission to advanced graduate programs or competitive jobs in industry. Students will work with a faculty mentor to develop an individualized program of study that will prepare them for admission to graduate programs in medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, physician assistant studies, clinical neuropsychology, physical therapy, occupational therapy, mental health counseling, and primary or secondary education. Research is an integral part of these programs with students conducting research side by side with faculty and fellow students, and publishing their results in peer-reviewed journals or presenting at local, national, and international conferences.
