Zoology Minor

The Zoology Minor is designed to provide a general introduction to animals and their ecology, while requiring in-depth knowledge of the diversity of at least one group, a course dealing with animal structure, behavior, or physiology, and an animal-focused course at the 500 or higher level of the student’s choice.

The Zoology minor requires five courses.

Marine Invertebrate Evolution and Ecology
Biology and Diversity of Insects
Choose one of the following:4-5
Vertebrate Morphology
Developmental Biology
Animal Behavior
Marine Invertebrate Evolution and Ecology
Chose one additional animal-focused course at the 600 level or higher chosen from the courses above4-5

College of Life Sciences and Agriculture students: two courses in the major may be used toward the minor, as long as selected from the courses listed above.
