The Department of Human Development and Family Studies (HDFS) and the Department of Recreation Management and Policy (RMP) offer an interdisciplinary minor in child life for students majoring in HDFS and RMP's Therapeutic Recreation Option only.

Participate in a 480-hour internship under the supervision of a CCLS 1
Complete 100 hours of volunteer work in direct care of children in healthcare setting before internship
